Just over here, keeping the positive vibes flowing!

I’m the first person to admit that I’m definitely a work in progress. But I do have to say in the last couple of years or so I’ve removed a lot of negative shackles in my life and feel so much better for it. I’m only trying to focus on the positive.

I feel so much lighter and when you push out the dark clouds in your skies, it allows for more cracks of sunshine to beam through.

It took me years to see a little clarity here because I always had so much going on, school, friends, traveling, family. Then one day, marriage, work, children, etc.. the list never ends, and I never really stopped to take stock of my life and how I could remove negative energy from it.

I’m mainly talking about negative people. I don’t mean ‘negative’ in the sense of people that are always looking at the dark side of things( although that can be unhealthy too). I’m talking about people that don’t support YOU! They may be sitting there with you, talking to you listening to you. They may even throw a compliment your way every now and again. But I’ve recognized after meeting truly pure, kind, and supportive friends, how rotten the ‘bad’ ones actually were.

Because I am a loyal person, and a people pleaser it took me WAY too long to identify these people. I also felt obligated to keep them around?!

I always made excuses like these

this person has always been in my life

this person was there at the time when I went through this tough phase

this person is related/connected to someone I love so I have to put up with them

this person is part of my family

I know this person so I have to put up with them

Honestly, no I don’t. I’m not saying I’m perfect, and don’t make mistakes or that I have always been a flawless friend, or person. Absolutely not. However, I know my own truth and that there are people who are truly happy for me and want me to be successful in my dreams and there are those who don’t. I’ll get off my soap box on this note- you are valuable and important , if someone doesn’t believe thats true or make you feel that way, cut them out and make room for someone NEW!!

My QUOTE OF THE DAY

How they treat you is how they feel about you, believe them

Know your worth!!

XO,

Stephany
