Time management is something that I always struggled with.

I find that I am most productive when I have a list and a deadline. Of course balancing kids and trying to keep a deadline can be difficult.

I let go of a lot of stress when I prioritize. Sometimes, if I have too much on my plate and can’t get it all done I end up feeling like I’ve failed. This emotional set back makes it more difficult for me to muster up the courage to try again at times.

When I put together a logical timeline, I am able to allow a little flexibility for myself and the little ones. This makes it easier to cross things off my list, and motivates me to keep going.

I love to feel busy and productive. I hate to feel overwhelmed and frustrated.

One of my flaws (that I would never bring up at a job interview, haha) is working under pressure. I can do it, I’m just not very good at it. When we have 5 seconds to get out the door in the morning for an early doctor appointment, I end up crashing into furniture, can’t find my keys, lose my phone, and leaving in sneakers without socks.

I’ve learned a lot from Michael who has always been great with punctuality. One of the things I fell in love with him for was how time accurate and dependable he was. When he said he would pick me up at 6pm, he would be there at 6 pm. When he said he would call at 9:00 he would call at 9:00. He was someone that I could count on, and never played games with time.

I still have a tough time getting started in the mornings. Confession: I am not a morning person, never was, never will be. However, once I get started I feel unstoppable.

My saving grace is allowing myself to stop for breaks through out the day.

Having a routine also helps a lot. Now that Angelina is on a nap schedule (11-12:30) I can count on that time to do a little work, take a shower and have some lunch. That’s really all the time in the day that I need to myself.

All in all, it’s something I think I will constantly be trying to manage to make sure I get the most out of my day.

Over all the most important thing I have to keep in mind is never to waste it. Never to take one moment for granted.

I stumbled upon this little note the other day and I haven’t stopped thinking about it ever since:

The price of anything is the amount of life you exchange for it.

-Henry David Thoreau

Loving this time of the year, the hot weather has subsided and it feels like such a relief. I love all the Autumn feels out there too, people seem to have slowed down a little and that cozy holiday anticipation is in the air… I remember this time last year I had Angel in my belly and was counting down the weeks till her arrival. I had no idea if she was a boy or a girl and the excitement was unparalleled. This year she is here and now we are a blessed family of five. I love her even more than I could have ever dreamed and the children love her too. This will be her first Halloween and her first birthday coming up so I’m trying my best to stay organized and plan ahead. I’ve already ordered costumes for the family and Angel’s birthday outfit. I hope it all comes together and that everyone is happy with the outfits I’ve chosen. I’ve been ordering more and more products online these days. I find it to be a lot more efficient, and I no longer use up all my time, car space and energy on picking up and carrying around bulky items. So far the main products I purchase online are toilet rolls, diapers, wet wipes, kleenex, basically most toiletries and now recently I’m shopping more and more of my wardrobe online too. I always buy my personalized items online because it’s just easier to pick and choose through all the options and you can take your time choosing what you want to buy. Etsy is still my all time favorite for hand crafted pieces, I’ve bought most of Angelina’s birthday wear from there. Amazon for the day to day products, including children’s books, office supplies and baby food. My top sites for clothing are ASOS and Nordstrom, basically these two stores will never let me down. Target is also great for kids items, and Net-a-porter for special occasions and novalty pieces. Any time I want my logo on something I shop at Zazzle, I’m always pleased with the quality and they deliver on time, every time. What would I do without all these shipping friends of mine?! I’d probably be just fine I’m sure, but it sure saves this mama a lot of time…When are they going to come up with a Starbucks delivery service?!! Count me in!!!

Thank you so much for reading along with me, please leave any questions or comments below in the comments section, I love to hear from you, HAPPY FALL Y’ALL!♄

White is the new black! Is it really winter?!! My favorite thing to wear (all year round if I can get away with it!) is a dress! It’s so easy, simple, and pretty. What’s my favorite way to dress up a look- adding a statement piece of jewlery!! It may be tricky to find something you love sometimes because you want something pretty yet versatile. MirinaCollections has the most beautiful handcrafted jewelry pieces you could ever wish for. Their items are both unique and elegant. You can stack them up or wear one piece alone for simplicity. Wearing a basic black or white dress and then changing it up with different jewels is another quick way to mix things up a little, while not having to dig through your whole closet! Wearing your favorite piece of jewelry can also take your look from day to night, and it doesn’t have to change with weather.

I’ve worn mine all week and have had so many compliments!! The sparkle makes me feel dressy, expect to see this on total repeat!!! ♄
