All wrapped up! Ingrid & Isabel

IMG_2929All wrapped up today! No wonder Christmas is my favorite holiday! All the fun and kindness is just so infectious. Chirstmas songs, lights, candy and presents of course!! Luckily it hasn’t been too cold yet. Taking Angelina out is becoming easier and easier. She loves her little stroller. I also have some warm and cozy nursing favorites now that I love to wear. My go-to formula at the moment is a button down tunic over knit tights with a big cape or wrap! That way I don’t have to try to squeeze into my pre-pregnancy skinny jeans, and the cape keeps Angelina and me all wrapped up so that we can nurse comfortably and discreetly. I adore this Ingrid & Isabel cozy wrap !! It’s so soft and lovely. I can drape it over my outfit in different styles and Angelina fits perfectly underneath. She loves how light the texture is and doubles as a little blanket for her too. I never would have dreamed that I could find an item that would be fashionable, great quality and baby friendly. Thank you Ingrid & Isabel we both love it!!

Kimono Kute!! With BUMPStyle Box

Stephany Bowman in a black and gold kimono nursing shirt from BumpStyle BOX

WOW! Looks at this gorgeous weather!Sunny Saturdays in December are fine with me!!  It feels amazing to have had such an extension of warmth and light! Also helps getting ready to head out a lot easier. Getting a new born ready to go and out the door is a lot less daunting when you are not battling harsh weather and the elements. Actually, this is the first winter I have ever had with a baby that is not freezing cold. It’s a total relief . I’m not exactly sure how long it will last but I’m definitely going to enjoy it while I can!

Nursing has become a lot easier, and Angelina and I have a great routine now. She typically loves a little walk in her stroller or a cruise in the car and sleeps throughout most outings. When she does wake up I feel pretty comfortable feeding her in any quiet private spot, provided I am wearing something baby friendly and nursing accessible.

My sweet friends at BumpStyle Box have sent me this gorgeous sparkly Kimono! It just drops right over anything, adds a touch of sparkle and sass, and still allows for easy nursing access for Angelina. It’s so perfectly festive for this time of year, I can dress it down with a pair of blue jeans or throw it over a LBD. A perfect, easy and glitzy option!! If you contact the stylists at BumpStyle Box they will sent you a whole box of items hand picked for your stage in motherhood that you can work right into your journey. Receiving the box  in the mail is always so exciting and a great wardrobe update. The pieces are always high quality, right on trend, comfy and practical. I highly recommend you give them a try. Plus the team there is just the sweetest, you will not regret giving it a shot!;)

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!! Everywhere you go!! Feeling oh so festive this holiday season!! I suppose I have so much to feel Thankful for! I actually feel like I’ve already unwrapped my Christmas gift! Yes, for me I truly feel as though Christmas has arrived early this year!! Things on the home front are just so busy!! I am so behind on my Christmas shopping. So many people that I want to spoil this year, but this year I think it’s going to be a matter of quality over quantity. Do little kids like quality over quantity? I think so. Last year we bought Alexander one huge toy car to drive around and to this day it is one of his favorite toys. All the others totally disappeared. Even though of course children love to open gifts, sometime I wonder if too many brings confusion and diminishing returns. Santa Please help!! 🙂

Breastfeeding is coming along so smoothly. I adore this cherry Red Long Sleeve Nursing Top . It’s very cute, flattering and form forgiving. It has easy nursing access in the front, long sleeves which is essential for the weather and the time of year and the color is so vibrant and festive. The fabric is also light and airy. It’s on Sale right now and also comes in three additional colors. I would even advise to pick out a few colors. It can also double as a maternity dress/tunic. I love it!!

Shopping and Sunshine, With RIPE Maternity

Nothing like a little shopping to get these girls out and about!! Hehe!! With all the big Thanksgiving sales and cute nursery linens Pottery Barn is definitely the place we wanted to be! They have the cutest things, and we get so excited anytime we can find an item that can be personalized! Angelina slept the entire time in her stroller, the outing was such a success that we were even contemplating lunch! Ahhh all the little victories of new mommy hood flooding back again!

One thing that us nursing moms have to consider is breastfeeding in public. If we are going to be brave and attempt having a life then thats going to have to be a recurring event that we must try to plan and get ready for. With my first baby I spent a lot of time out and about and nursing her in changing rooms and the back dark corners of coffee shops. I was so shy and uncomfortable but totally determined. With Alexander I was a little more confident and certainly less apologetic. I insisted on nursing him at my own comfort and convenience. This time with Angelina I’ve actually decided to invest in some good and clever nursing blankets, dresses, and tops. I will nurse her in public, but I want to do it discreetly and if possible, in style. Thankfully these days it seems like the market for nursing products has expanded and not only are there more options available to us, but there are even…some pretty options!!! Imagine that!!!

Ripe Maternity has hooked me up with this adorable little Pinafore green knit dress!! Its so comfy and perfect for fall layering. It can also be a maternity piece, so it’s one of those star buys that takes you through the stages of pregnancy and beyond. Something so hard to find. At least finding something cute, functional and seasonal is the ultimate mommy trifecta!! It also comes in a grey… I took a chance with the green and am so happy I did, I absolutely adore it.Thank you Ripe Maternity (By the way was just on their site and they have just tons of great options, so many to choose from, all lovely!!)

A little peek into my weekend look!!

It’s been two weeks now since we’ve had Angelina!!

I wouldn’t say that we have a tight hold on things, but we are certainly beginning to enjoy a more quiet time now. Nursing is going pretty smoothly. It’s been easier than with my first two. Is it because Angelina is able to latch on easily or is it because I’ve had more experience than before? Have more realistic expectations? I’m not quite sure, but in any case I’ll take it!!

I have to give a shout out to my super cool friends at BUMPStyle Box for setting me up with the most awesome and chic nursing piece I think I’ve ever seen?!!

Man, haven’t nursing friendly looks come along way?!! How cool is this black Jumpsuit?!! It’s so sleek and clever. Perfect for Fall , and I can wear it without feeling like I’m compromising on style. Thank you Team BUMPStyle Box you’ve done it again!!!

12 days post birth!!

We made it out!! The weather is still gorgeous and perfect for being outdoors!! I can even get away with wearing my jeans shorts a few more days! Hooray!! All set in comfy clothes!!

Everyday gets a little easier than the day before! Although we are still trying to find the balance and adjust, each day is a miracle and an achievement! Angelina is a delight, and although she is sleeping most of the time, when she does open her little eyes it feels as though we’ve known each other forever!!

I can’t believe its almost been two weeks already, time seems to just be flying by. It’s going to be Christmas before you know it!

My biggest challenge at the moment is just making it to all of our appointments on time, staying sane, keeping organized and trying to give Annabelle and Alexander as much attention as I can when we are together. It’s not always easy, but we are all learning together.

Thank Goodness for Grandmothers!! My mom is MVP and without her I can’t even imagine where we would be!! Thank you mom!!! :):)

Luckily with the help of my friends at BUMPStyle Box I don’t have to worry about what I look like!! They’ve completely got me covered with a huge box full of mommy friendly and nursing options! The outfits are so adorable I wasn’t even sure if they were maternity or just regular clothes!! Not having to worry about what would be flattering, and what I can breastfeed in is a huge help and relief!! Hello Angelina! Hospital Stay, PinkBlush Maternity!

Stephany Bowman wearing Pink Blush Maternity Robe

I can’t believe it the day has finally come(early!!)

Our little girl has arrived surprising us all with an early entrance, and a gender surprise!! We are so delighted by both of these unplanned events and feel absolutely overjoyed!!

Because we didn’t know if we were going to have a girl or a boy, most of the little tiny outfits that we picked out for the first few weeks were pretty gender neutral. Even still,I couldn’t help myself and bought a couple of adorable boy and girl options to have on stand by ready for which ever we were lucky enough to have:)

Our little princess Angelina Luella Bowman was born at 12:45 pm 11.1.15

Since she arrived 5 days earlier than anticipated, I had yet to pack my hospital bag!! I had mostly what I needed for the first few days, I just hadn’t packed them all in my suitcase yet!!

One thing I was thrilled to have had arrive and ready to go was my PinkBlush Maternity Hospital Robe!!! I knew that I wanted something comfy and pretty at the hospital for my four day stay, and was so happy to slip into this pretty little robe!! It was perfect for the amount of coverage it gave me, and the pattern was so pretty, a perfect backdrop to my baby girl!! It also brightened up the room, and gave me a piece of home in an otherwise sterile atmosphere!!

Thank you so much PinkBlush for setting me up in roses to meet our precious princess Angelina ♥

Halloween Bumpdate Special, With MAMAGAMAWORLD!!

38 week Bumpdate!! Okay it’s a little more festive than that!! It’s Halloween!!Which couldn’t be more fitting because of course baby is probably almost the size of a Pumpkin!!! I can’t believe that in just a few short DAYS I will be able to hold my little pumpkin in my arms! Right now I’m definitely feeling pretty large and in charge! Everyone is congratulating me on my baby, everywhere I go, so I must be clearly showing right now!! Trying to keep my energy levels high, It’s getting harder with the tossing and turning at night. My biggest battle is trying to find a comfortable position to sleep in at night. I’ve also given up on weighing myself (to be honest, I haven’t been able to face the scale for weeks now!! ;))  On this list of major to-dos left: Find a stroller and car seat solution, baby clothes, hospital robe, and a baby name!!!

Until then, at least I can have a little fun dressing up my bump!! The awesomely talented MAMAGAMAWORLD has sent me this absolutely adorable Pumpkin T-shirt!!! To be honest I had been dreaming about this piece for such a long time!! When I went to the sight EVERYTHING was just so so cute!!! It was so hard choosing my favorite!! And when I did this item was totally sold out for Halloween of course!! But look!! Great things happen in your Home Stretch!! It arrived!! In my Size!! WhoOOOOO hoooooo!!!!!!

Thank you MAMAGAMAWORLD!!!!!!

Royal Blue with Isabella Oliver

Having a little bit of a Kate Middleton moment in my Royal Blue Isabella Oliver Dress. Besides being just absolutely regal, this dress doubles as a nursing dress too. It’s really fun and pretty, and the adjustable wrapping fabric at the top allows for support and personal styling. Here I feature the tie (knot) in the front, but I’ve also worn it with the tie in the back. It creates a more simple look in the front, and a little point of interest in the back. Either way, It’s foul proof for sure. You can take this dress from the office, to dinner, its light weight jersey fabric is so comfy and modern. The classic Navy color, makes me feel sophisticated and pulled together. This is really something you can grown into, and keep even after baby. It’s also the perfect weight and cut for Fall. I’m noting this as my “maternity to motherhood Must-Have Item” !!

At 36 weeks, I’m starting to feel a lot less speedy on my feet. I think I may even have to force myself to slow down!! Must stay healthy, and hydrated! Starting to build my hospital bag as well. Looking for the perfect hospital robe!! It’s right around the corner!

So excited to meet you baby!!
